Jazmin Kurtenbach, Member Development, Central
Hi! I’m Jazmin Kurtenbach and I am Central District’s representative on the Member Development Committee! I’m a 30 year old prairie girl, born and raised here in Saskatchewan. I currently live in Fort Qu’Appelle, Sask. and go to Our Saviour Lutheran Church.
I work in marketing for a small commercial real estate brokerage. My job involves a lot of data collection, website admin, graphic design and helping keep my boss organized! When I’m not working I like to spend time with my husband of 10 years, Joshua. I also enjoy cuddling my cat, Gemma, and teaching my dog, Ruby, some new tricks. I have many hobbies; I often call myself a collector of hobbies. In a given month I could have a variety of projects going from crocheting to painting, woodworking to sewing, sculpting to cross-stitching and everything in between. I also have a passion for helping others, so I helped start and run a diaper bank at our church, to help low-income families. I also enjoy CrossFit, and I am starting to coach an exercise class for seniors in September.
I went to my first LWMLC meeting a little over four years ago when my husband was doing his vicarage in Didsbury, Alta. What I really loved about that first meeting was the gathering together of Lutheran women of all different ages and experiences and being together studying the Word and praying for and with each other. Since joining LWMLC I have enjoyed spending time with women of all ages and walks of life who have that same love of Jesus and love towards our neighbours.
