Ways to Donate
Gifts made to LWML- Canada Inc. are used to equip, motivate, and encourage the women of Lutheran Church – Canada in service to their Lord, as they:
GROW in God’s Word,
SHARE God’s Son and
SERVE God’s people
Donating to Lutheran Women’s Missionary League – Canada Inc. can take many forms, including:
Mites
Primarily we receive Mites from society, zone, and national functions to support our

Special Gifts (see the various methods below)
Special gifts made to LWML-Canada Inc. may be designated by the donor for special purposes, that may include:
All gifts given and designated as a memorial gift, or as an honorarium gift, will automatically be placed into LWML-Canada Inc.’s Gifts for Growth Fund. If no purpose is indicated by the donor, and the gift is not given as a memorial or honorarium, the gift will be placed into general operations and used as needed.
Ways to Make Donations
Direct
Donations can be made directly to LWML–Canada Inc. using E-transfer, Cheque or Credit Card
For instructions on using these options, download and complete the Remittance Voucher Form (found here), emailing the completed form to financialsec@lutheranwomen.ca
LWML–Canada Inc. will issue your Income Tax receipt(s) by the end of February in the year
following the donation(s).
Church Offering
Your Church will accept donations designated for LWML–Canada Inc., then forward the equivalent amount gifted using either an e-transfer, cheque, or credit card payment, with a completed copy of the Remittance Voucher (found here) emailed to financialsec@lutheranwomen.ca
As the gift was initially made to your church, the church will issue your Income Tax receipt.
Society Offering
Your Society will accept donations for LWML–Canada Inc., then forward the equivalent amount gifted to LWML-Canada Inc. using either an e-transfer, cheque, or credit card payment. If a receipt is wanted, donors should provide their intent to the Society Treasurer. The Society will forward the completed copy of the Remittance Voucher (found here) to financialsec@lutheranwomen.ca
LWML–Canada Inc. will issue your Income Tax receipt by the end of February in the year
following the donation(s), based on information provided by your Society on the Remittance Voucher.
Online Through Canada Helps: Donate
Please note, Canada Helps will automatically add a 4.5% processing fee to your donation amount, PLUS ADD an automatic donation for themselves, UNLESS YOU SET THAT AMOUNT TO ZERO ($0).
Canada Helps will issue your Income Tax receipt immediately following each completed donation.

Share Transfers and Bequests
As a free service to Lutheran Women’s Missionary League–Canada Inc. Lutheran Foundation Canada will accept Share-Transfer (publicly treated securities) and Bequests naming Lutheran Women’s Missionary League–Canada as recipient and beneficiary by contacting Lutheran Foundation Canada at 1-877-711-4438 or gift@lutheranfoundation.ca
