GIFTS FOR GROWTH
The Gifts for Growth fund was established by LWMLC Inc., as a special fund to annually support a seminary student at each of our two seminaries, and for the benefit of women of the Church for production and promotion of special resources and preparation of programs; continued provision of leadership and outreach programs associated within LWMLC Inc.
The Gifts for Growth Fund is a permanent fund invested into perpetuity within Lutheran Foundation Canada’s custodial fund program, and it is only the earnings from this investment that are used to support the above stated causes.
Decisions regarding the annual allocation of available funds is the responsibility of LWMLC’s leadership.
LWMLC members are encouraged to contribute to the Gifts for Growth fund through lifetime or estate gifts, and/or honorarium or memorial gifts.
The Gifts for Growth fund demonstrates LWMLC’s commitment to EQUIP, MOTIVATE and ENCOURAGE members to grow, share, and serve.
