It’s Summertime!!
Oh, how I love summer! We have three other seasons but it’s summer and that is my all time favourite.
During the season of summer, I find myself singing to myself the chorus of “Awesome God” many times over.
In our yard we enjoy bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, dragonflies, a variety of other birds and more. Their anticsgive so much pleasure. So many hours spent watching these creatures and then the waiting in anticipation for the Monarch butterfly to show and it does! Our God is an awesome God….
The gardens and flowerbeds flourish in the heat, humidity and rain. We enjoy the beauty of the many flowers and plants. Oh, the sweet smell of lilies! This year I wait for theHeaven Blue Morning Glory to bloom. It has been so many years since the last plant showed its beautiful flower, but I continue to plant every year anyway. Our God is an awesome God…
We also have an abundance of deer that like the vegetation, a groundhog that’s been by a couple of timesto feast, mosquitos, deerflies, horseflies, blackflies and more…. Our God is an awesome God….
The bounty of garden produce is such a blessing for us to enjoy and to share with family, friends, neighbours andfoodbank. Berry picking in the wild is also something to look forward to. Our God is an awesome God….
