On Saturday, October 23, 2023, the Parkland Zone (Central District) held a Fall Renewal at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Oxbow. Ladies from Estevan, Frobisher and Oxbow attended, as well as Pastor Kramer and his family.
Pastor provided the ladies with a Prayer Service and a Bible study called “Blessed and Thankful.” As an ingathering the group collected items for Regina General Hospital Youth Detox Center. A free-will offering of $172.50 was collected for the children’s Christmas bags that will be put together and sent to the hamlet of Grise Fiord, Nunavut.
After a soup, bun and dessert lunch the ladies worked on producing 50+ t-shirt bags for the Carlyle Food Bank.
