MEETING CHALLENGES WITH FAITH
“Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” … I Thessalonians 5:3
Greetings to you as we enter the middle of March, nearing the end of the first year of our 2024-2027 triennium. Isn’t it amazing how seasons and time come and go due to nothing we do but can only be attributed to our Lord’s wonderful and awesome creation many, many years ago.
Yes, God is in charge and in control of all things, yesterday, today and tomorrow and He promises to carry us through all times – the good and the not so good times. I cannot help but think back to our five-month banking challenges and how all things did eventually work out with not too many hiccups.
Despite those challenging times LWMLC Inc. has reached it’s projected incoming Mite revenue for the first year of the triennium two months early!! Thanks be to God!! Yes, God always cares for us and always provides for us in exceedingly measures.
Sometimes, because we may have so many wants, it is difficult to be obedient to God and to willingly share the blessings He has given to us with those in need around us. But when we give from the heart, not because we feel we need to but because we want to, the joy is felt not only by the recipients but also in our own hearts.
God tells us we will have challenges, and life won’t always be easy, and at one time or another we have all experienced that. But with prayer, conversation with God,a relationship of faith and trust in God, He makes those hills easier to climb.
Speaking of hills to climb, in a couple years each zone will be selecting a delegate for the next LWMLC Inc. convention and funds will be needed to send the delegates. As a society, have you been collecting funds each month to build a reserve to assist the zone in funding this expense? It’s never too early to start!
