I want to talk to you . . . Are you listening?
This fall in the Laurentian District, we’re planning three retreats to fine tune our listening skills. We’ll be slowing down the pace a little from our weekly duties to reflect on SILENCE. Once we’ve blocked out the background noise, then we’ll practice LISTENING to the right sound or voice. Thirdly, when we know whose voice we’re listening to, we’ll explore the aspect of FOLLOWING.
Why would we want to do this? We have a loving heavenly Father who wants to communicate with us. He has shown us the human example and sacrifice of His Son Jesus and wants to have a heart to heart relationship with us forever.
Check with your LWMLC Inc. District president to find the next Prayer Retreat closest to you in order to grow closer to the One who wants to talk with and love each and every one of us.
