GIFTS FOR GROWTH
This is the term used for the monies invested with the Lutheran Foundation through LCC.
The dollars received are identified as GIFTS for GROWTH or MEMORIALS and HONORARIUMS that have not been already designated.
The interest that is earned from this investment is used to annually support a seminary student, one in each of the Seminaries at Edmonton and St Catherine’s. Another way the interest is used is for the education and development of the membership. This can be in the form of seminars, production of new materials, and professional development. This fulfills the purpose of LWMLC to EQUIP, MOTIVATE and ENCOURAGE members to grow, share, and serve.
