2019-2022 Mission Grants

$50,000 was allocated for Mission Grants. The following were selected from the list of mission grant proposals.

1. Camp Lutherland, Fort Qu’Appelle SK, new bunk bed mattresses  $10,500

2. Aurora Lutheran Bible Camp, Thunder Bay ON, remediation of water well system and water sample testing   $8,000

3. Purchase of Children’s Devotional and Prayer Booklets for Outreach Distribution, Grace Lutheran Church, Regina SK  $2000

4. Purchase of Bibles for Outreach Distribution, Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Regina SK  $1,000

5. Distance Education Information Technology Upgrades, Concordia Lutheran Seminary, Edmonton AB  $15,000

6. Mission Opportunity Fund  $5,000

7. Theological Education for Deaconesses in Cambodia  $5,000

8. Deaconess Support in Cambodia, print resources, transportation, etc.   $3,500

Mission Walk Donations: $7,695.00

The ingathering of gift cards, Canadian Tire money and the above mission walk donations will be divided equally between the three camps in the LWMLC Central District: Aurora Lutheran Bible Camp, ON; Jackfish Lutheran Camp, MB; Camp Lutherland,  SK.
